APPRENTI’BUS: learning through play

Founded in 1998, "Sport dans la Ville" has designed a path of support for young people in priority neighbourhoods of city politics, based on the values communicated through sport.

All the programs set up by "Sport dans la Ville" promote the social and professional integration of young people aged between 6 and 25 years old.

Since 2012, the PSA Foundation has chosen to support the "Apprenti'Bus" program of "Sport dans la ville". Located in the immediate vicinity of sports fields, these buses, equipped with a training room, offer young people aged 9 to 11 the opportunity to improve their learning of fundamental concepts such as their mastery of reading, writing and writing. oral expression before entering 6th grade.
And during the school holidays, young people between the ages of 14 and 20 enrolled in the "Job dans la Ville" program use these buses to take part in workshops on CV writing, simulating interviews, taking language courses .
In 2017, this program won the "Mobility & Education-Culture" call for Projects of the PSA Foundation: this support made it possible to finance a new "Apprenti'Bus" which was inaugurated on March 10, 2018 in Lyon.

At the end of 2018, 289 young people were enrolled in the Apprenticeship program, 30% of them girls.

"Sport dans la Ville wishes to expand the" Apprenti'Bus "program in new territories and offer sessions to more and more children. The support of the PSA Foundation in 2019 and 2020 will allow the acquisition of two new buses, one for the Grenoble region and one for the Paris region.
