In 2019, the association "Un Ptit Vers de Dropt" organized many shows in the homes of the inhabitants. The program was very diverse: concerts, shows, exhibitions, and theater. 8 different shows were proposed bringing together more than 500 spectators of all ages.
This cultural offer was proposed to the inhabitants of the Dropt Valley in New-Acquitaine, which includes the departments of Lot-et-Garonne, Gironde and Dordogne.
In this very rural area, there are many obstacles to accessing culture. It is by relying on the active participation of the private and public hosts as well as that of the artists that this association can bring cultural shows to the inhabitants. These shows are an opportunity to share, to facilitate exchanges for people who are isolated or cannot travel.
This is why Fondation PSA supported this project, winner of the call for projects Mobility & Education-Culture in 2018.
