Fondation PSA and the Avise (an engineering agency to undertake otherwise) are publishing a new guide to support the process of creating social garages in the territories in need of a mobility solution.
This methodological guide entitled:
"How can we meet the conditions of success to create a social garage with the Fabrique à initiatives ?"
is intended for project owners or communities who wish to set up a social garage. Since the Mobilities Orientation Act of 24 December 2019, local authorities or regional councils can now facilitate the emergence and deployment of mobility solutions to enable mobility for all.
In 2019, Fondation PSA and the Avise experienced in 5 regions the mobilization of the initiative-building facility to bring out, from co-construction work with local actors and a needs analysis, a relevant model of scial garage and a structure to carry it.
This guide outlines the deployment of this method by 5 Initiatives Factories: ATIS in the Périgord Vert (New Aquitaine), ADRESS in the Argentinean (Normandy), the Centsept in the commune of Décines-Charpieu (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), TAg29 in the Pays de Brest and Center Ouest Bretagne (Brittany) and Courant Fort in the north Drôme-Ardèche (Auvergne) Rhône-Alpes).
It includes not only the step-by-step explanation of the method used by the ISP but also the feedback of the ISPs in order to identify the good practices of this device applied to the creation of social garages.
