On Monday, November 25, at "Les Restos du Cœur" Poissy distribution center, Karine Hillaireau, General Delegate of Fondation PSA, handed over the keys of two refrigerated trucks to Emmanuel Nodé Langlois, President of "Les Restos du Cœur" Yvelines association. These trucks will allow the collection of foodstuffs from around sixty food retailers in the Yvelines.
With the opening of the 35th winter campaign of "Les Restos du Cœur", the Poissy centre distributes meals three times a week, or 100 tonnes of goods per week for more than 650 beneficiaries and 160 babies. The number of beneficiaries is still increasing.
Since 2011, Fondation PSA has been supporting associations of general interest that propose projects to promote solidarity mobility and social inclusion. The "Les Restos du cœur" project was selected from among more than 200 projects presented during the Fondation PSA's call for Mobility for Inclusion projects in February 2019. With the donation of two refrigerated boxers, Fondation PSA is supporting this reverse mobility project, which enables the volunteers of "Les Restos du Cœur" to provide the poorest people with the basic food and hygiene products they need.
