A nine-seat vehicle for Vaumoise
The Lazare association develops and organizes activities in single-sex shared appartments, which gather between six and ten persons. Each one of these appartments is occupied by former homeless people and young voluntary workers. This mixity process helps them to rebuild human and social relationships and therefore allows them to live in a house.
The Lazare association owns a house in Vaumoise and works hand in hand with the innovative project “À la bonne ferme”, a permaculture garden where a program for inclusion is developed. In 2019, nine women in reintegration will be living in the house.
The support of the PSA Foundation will purchase a nine-seat vehicle to help the nine women to go to their workplace.
Philippe de Rovira Chief financiel officer (Rueil-Malmaison)
"When one lives in the street, it is very hard to reintegrate society. Lazare association offers a very innovative solution to homeless people: a gradual integration in a family context, so that the beneficiaries can take responsibilities and have an address, which is necessary to compete for employment."
