On the road to autonomy with a “licence-free car”

The Don Bosco organisation has already led a number of initiatives for mobility-deprived people, including:

  • a socially-responsible driving school,
  • supervised driving,
  • connecting people with mobility platforms for the hire of vehicles and scooters.

The project is to acquire an engine-powered light quadricycle vehicle equipped with dual controls, the aim being to provide an alternative driving-licence training solution for people in difficult situations (the employees of sheltered sector companies, people with minimum social benefits) by putting them in real learning situations similar to conventional training courses.

Very few organisms currently provide this kind of training.
