Bike rides for visually-impaired people

Bike trips are now a possibility for people with disabilities thanks to the Cyclo d’Oye organisation, which organises tandems of visually-able and visually-impaired cyclists across France.

The objective of the organisation, founded and run by visually-impaired people, is to enable people with disabilities to go biking, but also to provide them with a fun and friendly activity outside of conventional support structures and their usual environment.

The organisation needs to renew its fleet of 12 tandem bikes and François Riffaud, a volunteer for the organisation since 2003, suggested that the Foundation help to finance the new equipment.
