A socio-educational project for “Les Apprentis d’Auteuil”

Founded in 1929, the “Les Apprentis d’Auteuil” Foundation is a non-profit foundation welcoming all young students facing great difficulties, either social, family or deportation risk. It educates and teaches nearly 14 000 boys and girls in need to enable them to integrate the society as free and responsible adults.

Young people entrusted by the family or by the Social care children services. It delivers 66 educational programs in 12 sectors in 200 different sites in France including the TRAPPES one, with which the PSA Foundation builds a project for youth’s mobility.

Both foundations are working together to provide scholarships for mobility for young apprentices of Auteuil center in Trappes: assistance for driving license exam, road safety certificate, loan of scooters or bicycles...

Finally, PSA Foundation has been also associated with the “ Apprentis d’Auteuil” Foundation and the “Pleyel” Foundation for a concert in December 2012 in favor of “Les Apprentis d’Auteuil” Foundation. These three foundations met at the initiative of the Pleyel Foundation to promote a gospel chorus of Auteuil’s young people named “Family One”. This group was given the opportunity to perform in one of the most prestigious symphony halls in the world: the “Pleyel” concert hall.

”Family one” is part of an education program for the performing arts created by “Les Apprentis d’Auteuil”.
