Coming down the mountain

Since 2001 this structure has brought young people with motor disabilities the chance to take a vacation.

In 2016 the SESSD APF Liévin service for specialised home aid and care wants to take 15 young people with disabilities on a mountain descent using a "quadrix", a sort of four-wheeler car-wheelchair.

The activity stands out by being accessible both to people with and without disabilities; The organisation wants to bring young people with disabilities the same thrills as able-bodied people.

It is also an opportunity to try out an activity that they can then do with their family. The donation of the Foundation will serve to finance the trip and in particular the rental of the quadrix vehicles.

The quadrix will also help the young people to learn the basics of driving, helping them to prepare for their driving tests.
